After graduating from Syracuse and living in NYC and Hoboken, my husband and I bought a house in Montclair, NJ. Great town - we really love it! Most of all it is a great commute to the city where we both work.

I've been living in the city for about 11 years now. I'm running the family business(Valentino Hair Salon)so I'm in New Brunswick 3 or 4 times a week. I'm still taking dance classes and about 4 years ago I started dee-jaying. All is well.

Hello Everyone!
I thought I'd update my profile since it's been a couple of years. All is going well for John, Tyler and I. John and I are still with Energizer (the bunny), and doing really well. Recently I was promoted and transferred to our packaging facility 8 miles away from where we manufacture our batteries where John currently works. This is the first time in 6 years where we don't have to see each all day and night! It's actually going really well...we do still meet our little guy Tyler for lunch just about everyday.
Tyler is doing great. He is a typical 18 month old into EVERYTHING! We are certainly blessed...he is such a great baby, and may I add adorable too! He is definitely too smart for his age...he's playing us already (I hope were not raising a future con artist, because sometimes it feels like he ultimately gets his way with everything!!)...Raising Tyler has been the most rewarding experience we've ever had....If you have kids you know...If you don't.. you will know one day...It's extraordinary.
We're looking forward to this summer, we've got a really busy schedule filled with family & fun.

And the boy she's holding is Naomi's and my son, William Kenji, who's now almost 11 months old and an endless source of joy for us.
Although we came out here in 2002 thinking we'd return to the East coast after a few years of enjoying the great outdoors, we've been completely seduced by Portland and the limitless outdoor fun to be had in the Northwest. Of course, our skiing, sea-kayaking, mt. biking and backpacking time has taken a bit of a hit with our new addition...
Naomi continues to work in watershed planning for the City's environmental bureau, and I've finally finished my medical training and am an ER doc at a Portland community hospital.
I hope everyone is doing well, and we may see some of you on random trips back to HP. Let us know if you happen to be headed out this way, and we'll treat you to a delicious Northwest craft brew (sorry Goldberg, no nat'y light out here).

Since my last update (when I was unemployed after being laid off by Lucent), I've been working for Agile Communications, and my business cards say that I'm a network analyst and modelling engineer, so I guess that's what I do, helping design the communcations networks of the future.
I bought a house here in Worcester back in April (2005), and I live here with my chocolate Labrador Retriever, Sophie (8 1/2 months old at the time of this posting). One of these days, I might find a human female to spend some time with me, but for now I enjoy the freedom of singlehood.
When I can get away, I race autocross with the Boston Chapter BMW Car Club of America, carve up the backroads of New England on my R1 sportbike, or get dirty in the garage working on either the car or the bike.

Time for an update...
Still working on a very part-time basis as a School Psychologist but more importantly to me, I continue to be a stay-at-home mom to my 4 1/2-year-old daughter Emily, 2-year-old son Matthew, and the latest addition to our growing family, 3-week-old Michael. Eric John Smith, 30, of Highland Park died Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at his residence.
Born in New Brunswick, he was a lifelong resident of Highland Park. He graduated in 1992 from Highland Park High School and received his bachelor's degree in 1998 from Rutgers University. He loved writing and listening to music.
He had worked as a tax examiner for the New Jersey Department of Labor (Division of Employer Accounts) in Trenton. He was a communicant of St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church, Highland Park.
He is survived by his parents, Arthur and Donna Templin Smith of Highland Park; a brother, Douglas E. and his wife, Laynie, of Ledgewood; a sister, Tracy Douches and her husband, Brian, of Edison; an uncle, John Templin and his wife, Barbara, of Greenfield Center, N.Y.; three nephews, Brett and Bradley (also his godson) Douches of Edison, and Jacob Smith of Ledgewood, and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held 9 a.m. Saturday at Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 S. Adelaide Ave., Highland Park, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church, Highland Park. Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick. Relatives and friends may call 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul the Apostle Church, 502 Raritan Ave., Highland Park, NJ 08904.

Hello all! I graduated from Rutgers in 97 and spent several years at Merrill Lynch as a Investment associate. After that I moved to Philly to do similiar work at another financial service firm. Hello everyone! I figured it was time to update my info. I got married to Ryan in August '04 back in NJ and we currently live outside of Ann Arbor, MI. Ryan works as a process engineer and spends his free time skydiving at a local dropzone. I am working on my MBA and will graduate in April. Hey Guys
It's been a while, so I thought I would update my info. As some of you may know, my husband Ross and I are now living in Colorado right outside of Colorado Springs. It is beautiful out here. I taught for one school year when we got here before resigning to stay home with our son Teofil who is now 7 months old. I love being a mom; every moment is amazing! We also have a 3 yr. old pug and a 1 yr. old yellow lab.
I have no idea what our future holds, but I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone at our next reunion. Hope everyone is doing well!

After college I worked in the corporate office of a retail fine art gallery for five years and did a lot of traveling around the country. I have since changed careers and graduated from culinary school. I now work as a cook at an Italian restaurant in lower Manhattan and love it.

Hi everyone! It has been long time for many of us! It is hard to believe I have been away from Highland Park for over 13 years. After college I was "trapped" in Boston for Grad School and I haven't been able to leave this place. I was married in June 2004 in Guanajuato, Mexico to my Mexican Wife Chela. We live in Boston and while she is completing her degree in engineering at Northeastern U. I work as a Physical Therapist in Home Care in the heart of Boston and all other parts some good, some scary. I live not too far from Ari Wexler and of course we hang out, but the frequency has dcreased quite a bit as he too was married 1 month before I. Chela and I are thinking of moving back to NJ to be closer to family, but probably to the Shore where most our family is now.
It was great reading about you all it is fun to see how peoples lives are shaping.

Its crazy how fast life goes by. Im still working as a manicurist in no brunswick, but i gave up my own salon when i found out that i was pregnant again. so now i work 3 days a week and take care of my 2 girls (Briahna 2 1/2 and Kelsey 6 months) i love being a mom. my husband and i still take the girls down to the summer house on the weekends and we love every minute of it. well that is about all for now see you at the next reunion.

Well, this could take a while. I'll try to make this as brief as possible.
I moved away after our sophomore year/summer of 1990...one of the saddest times of my life. I moved to Kansas, graduated from high school, graduated from the University of Kansas, received my Master's degree from the University of Arizona in Speech-Language Pathology, and then moved back to Kansas City to work on my Ph.D. I'm still working on my Ph.D. and working full-time at the University of Kansas as a Clinical Instructor in our Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic. I work with children with developmental communication and literacy disabilities and teach graduate students how to work with this population of individuals. In the summer of 2004, I married my wife, Cori, adopted our dog, Kodi, and bought a house. We recently found out that we are expecting an addition to our family in September of 2006.
I never knew this site existed and am so happy that I found it. Reading about so many of our classmates was at the same time joyful and bittersweet. Although I love Kansas (I know that probably sounds strange to nearly everyone but it really is a great place), I miss everyone terribly. I had the chance to catch up with some people at the 2002 reunion and Keith Cook's wedding in Sept. of 2005 and even talked the likes of Melanie Girvan, Keith, and Jimmy Rulewich to come visit. I would definitely enjoy catching up with anyone who is interested...please email me...especially if you're passing through KC...yeah right. Anyway, all the best to everyone. Till next time...

Hi Everyone, Just a quick update on myself. I got married on October 16, 1999 to Amanda Laufnick. Our son, Michael Patrick McMahon Jr., was born on Aug.30 2000. Amanda is a stay at home mom, instead of sending him to daycare. I am working for Citistreet associates and have been there the last 6 years. I also joined the Highland Park Volunteer Fire Department in 1998. I ran into some people at the old Patti's in New Brunswick this past Thanksgiving, but there still are a lot of people that I haven't seen in a long time. Next year is our 10th and hope to see everyone there.

I'm currently getting my Ph.D. in Neuroscience at Stanford, doing research on neural development. I married my long time sweetie, Mike Toth, in June 2000. He runs his own software development company and plays in a couple bands in San Francisco, which gets me out and dancing when I'm not in the lab! We bought a house here last fall and we are having way too much fun working on the house and garden. No kids yet, but we have a much adored and spoiled kitty.

Hmm...where to start.
After high school I went to Upsala college for a couple years, and then transfered over to Rutgers Newark.
Once I graduated, I landed a job at Schindler Elevator Corp. I've been working on their field force automation projects for almost 7 years. (The Elevator Business is solid work but it has its ups and downs!) Currently I'm living in Ramsey with my fiance'.
Other than that I study/teach Aikido in Morristown and I write whenever I can.
I'm down in the HP area a couple times a month to visit my family. Anyone who's local and wants to get together let me know and we'll try to hook up.
