Since graduation went to school for computors, now working for J&J 25 yrs. never married, but I wish I did. someday I hope. looking to buy my first house..spent too much money over the years on cars I love muscle cars from th 60's and 70's.
now it time for a house. I still work out with weights keeps me in nice shape, some people can't believe at 45 I still work out as hard as I do. I work for J&J in Raritan NJ as computor tech, been here since I was 20..damm can you believe it? were did the time go since we graduated? my 3 sister Darlene, Cindy and Debbie are all doing well and yes married. Life has been an adventure almost died in a house fire back in 87, good thing my roommate was home he pulled me out just in time, faulty wires in the walls..old house I was renting. Any was hope to talk to you all soon.

Reading of others' convoluted journeys has got me thinking about my own--leaving HP for Princeton a few weeks shy of my 17th birthday, discovering I wasn't all that sure what I was doing there, changing majors, flunking out, returning, changing majors, eventually graduating in '81 with a degree in philosophy, a love of reading (finally recovered from my HS habit of regarding all books as "assignments") and a clear sense that more schooling was not in the cards for my immediate future. Spent the summer meeting Marika Fischer (sister of Laura Lee HPHS '75) and getting engaged--a vow eventually consumated in 1988. After some bouncing around the country following one another's careers, I eventually returned to school to get a PhD in counseling psychology, and have now taught for 10 years, at Iowa State (4 yrs) and now at U of Wisconsin (6 yrs). Looking forward to a sabbatical starting in the fall.
We've got two beautiful daughters--Mara (born 1995) and Mina (born 1999). We get back to HP regularly to visit both sets of parents. We're trying to convince mine that they really want to retire to WI--wish us luck. I'm a lousy correspondent, but have had recent opportunity to catch up with Scott Schoifet and Dan Sved, and of course Laura Lee. Looking forward to our 30th, coming up...

After graduation I attended business school and then joined a travel agency where I worked for six years, learning the business. In 1982 I joined American Airlines/Sabre and moved to Hartford, CT, then Washington, DC and finally the Dallas, Texas area where I lived for 17 years.
In 1997, I met and married my husband Mike. My husband has two grown children, Chris, 28 and Laura, 26. We have 3 grandchildren, Drew 5yrs, Joey 4yrs, and Kaitlyn 1 yr., and one on the way.
When the travel/tourism industry started to suffer, I was part of a major layoff and lost my job after 18 years. I'm currently working as a Scopist, and take the steno/computer files and notes that court reporters produce and edit them into full transcripts for lawyers and judges to read and refer to. It's a work-at-home job, and I can take files electronically from anywhere in the country.
In 2004 my husband was offered a position in Maryland, and we relocated right over the border in Pennsylvania – 3 hours from Tastee Sub! I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at our 30-year reunion.

Boy, Talk about a blast from the past…
Well, I guess I get the award for having run the farthest!
I went to college at the University of Pennsylvania and then to Rutgers Medical School (sorry, now Robert Wood Johnson). I spent two years in Manhattan at NYU and Bellevue (in training, not a patient!), 4 years at San Diego where I completed my training in Urology and then one year in Houston, for specialization in pediatric urology. I worked at Southern California for about 10 years and then moved to Hawaii to practice 2 years ago. Along the way I got married, we had two kids (Alexa in 1990, Michael in 1991) and then got divorced (oops!). Well, everyone lives here in Oahu and are doing well. I am the pediatric urologist for Kaiser here and also do a lot of computer work for the medical group. “What’s a pediatric urologist? Well, as my ex used to tell people, when a child is born and they can’t decide if it is a girl or a boy, Howard gets to flip the coin.”
My Brother David (‘76) lives in Pensacola FL with his 4 girls (serves him right!) and my sister Donna (‘81) lives in Manhattan with her 4 (3 girls and a boy).
I have trade a few e-mails with classmates Danny Sven JoAnn Difede and Tricia Haleluk and recently saw Anne (‘76) and Madeline (’74) Ambrosio and Laura DiGiovanni (’74).
Seems like everyone is doing pretty well for themselves!

Highland Park- Love the town. Would consider moving back some day. After graduation in 75, I got my BS from Trenton State, M.Ed from Rutgers, and Ed.D from Fordham. I've been working in adult higher education-first at Middlesex County College, then on to Thomas Edison State College in administration and now as a professor of in educational leadership at Troy State University in Phenix City, Alabama. I've heard just above every joke there is about yankees there is and can "ya all" with the best of them. I've learned all about living with tornadoes, palmetto bugs, scorpions, armadillos and other such interesting creatures. I moved to Columbus (home of the bible belt) in 97 with my husband, Philip Kaplan (clinicial psychologist) and children Samantha, 16 and Benjamin, 14 in an effort to downshift, spend more time with the kids and be in a warmer climate. Its proved to be an interesting journey - that's the purpose of life isn't it? I've written 2 books, lots of ! articles (its what we academics do) and get to Highland Park several times a year to visit my mom and sisters (my dad passed away last April). I'd love to hear from anyone and everyone. I chat with Cathy Brown Fodor now and again - saw Angie Vitale (I can't remember her married name) on my last visit up.

Wow! My brother Allen, (class of 73) forwarded this address to me, and what a walk down memory lane it has been. I’ve enjoyed browsing through this website and thank the creators of it. What a great idea. My path in life might be obvious to some of you who knew me in High School. After graduating from HPHS I entered Boston University where I received my BFA in acting. I met my wife Nina there and we were married in 1984 in New York City. After college we moved to New York where I spent 6 years working in the theatre. While living in New York I was invited to go to California to act on my first television series, which led to my first movie role and the beginning of our life in California. I do stay in touch with many HPHS alumni who also live in LA. Friends such as Michael and Lori Jacobs, Alan and Gary Stein, Rick Karo, Carey ("Rock") Miller, Bobby Bernstein, Willie ("Garson") Paszamant, and others. Of course I'm still in close contact with my main boys like Rick Miller and Neal Saiff.Highland Park was a great place to grow up and as a result of having an older brother and two younger sisters (Karen, who is married to John Paszamant, and Jodi) who attuned HPHS and still live in the area, I am able to remain in touch with many people. My mother Honey also lives in the area and remains quite plugged into the "goings on”. My family often gets together in the summertime at my Mom's beach house on the Jersey Shore. I am currently acting on the NBC television series "Will and Grace" and the Director of other television series such as "The Guardian"," The District", "The Twilight Zone", and others. Still doing what I love after all these years. My wife Nina is the Senior VP of CBS Television. We have two beautiful children, Matthew age 15, and Alice age 4. Ok, they were both born in Beverly Hills, Ca. but I assure you they know what a "Tasty Sub" is. Have seen the sleigh-riding hill in Donaldson Park. Have tasted a burger from "White Rose”, and saw the football field where my brother Allen dislocated his shoulder in the game against Carteret HS. GO OWLS!!!

Spent a few years at R.I.T. after graduation hoping to be some sort of photographer some day. Switched to engineering and programming cuz that seemed to be a more lucrative career track. Have been doing that for about 20 years...been a long, strange trip!
Got married in 2000 and have 2 great kids - Benjamin, 3 and Esther, 9 months. Have seen former classmates on occasion. I hope we have a 30th reunion...hopefully a relaxed one where we could bring our families!

I am another one who graduated early, I did however attend part of the class of 1974 reunion last year, but due to my amnesia to all things related to the time period I knew very few people there......Things were not as smooth for me after graduation as one would hope but I did OK, Married for 23 years to Rich who is a Mechanical Enginer, I am a RN/BSN Case Manaager. My kids are older than most, Shara 26 lives in Chapel Hill NC and a faboulous dancer and works in web design, Rich Jr, 23 MIT grad and HS math teacher at Westtown School, Pa , and Nick 18 at Bucknell studying economics. All healty and fit. I moved around alot in 30 years, Ohio, California, Wyoming, Colorado, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania now outside Dallas Texas. I enjoy fitness, yoga, healty lifesyle living, knitting, travel. I plan to retire to the Southwest someday! I will not be at your reunion in July, hope it is a great one.

Previously married for 20 years and then got smart. After High School stayed in Highland Park and restored a 100 y/o house and adopted 2 beautiful children. Alana is 13 and a young lady , Joshua is 8 and they are the love of my life. After my ex left I found a new light and enthusiasm to the singles life. I work for a plastic surgeon in New Brunswick and spend everyother weekend with my kids. I look forward to the next stage of life.

As promised, I thought that I would update some info on my life. Post HPHS, I attended U of Colorado in Boulder, CO which was an absolute blast. I fell in love with Colorado and never left. After college, I moved all the way to Denver (~35 miles)and married my college sweetheart, Mindy. Settling in Denver, we have raised our 3 daughters; Jaime, age 24, graduated from Leheigh in PA and now lives and works in NYC and is engaged to be married; Lisa, age 22, graduated from Tufts U in Boston and is now living in Buenos Aires, Argentina (temporarily), and Lauren, who just graduated HS and is going to Duke U in Durham, NC to play field hockey. I am a real estate developer who basically specializes in retail. I also own some apartments in Dallas, TX. I love living in Colorado; spend much time at my second home in Vail where we ski, hike, raft and play golf.
I love living in Colorado, have no idea why my children are ending up on the east coast but it is their life. I still keep in touch with some of my boys, like Jerry Levine and Neal Saiff and reconnected with Gerald Jasin(ski) just before the 30th reunion.

After graduating from Trenton State College in 1980, I left for a teaching position at Burbank High School in CA. I taught Drama and English for 3 years until they laid me off because I didn't speak Spanish.
I then started my career in technology sales. I sold software for the most part until I made the jump to the Internet in 1998. I rode the Dot Com rollercoaster until 9/11. Our NY based investors lost interest in the Fall of 2001. It was then that I opened a sales & marketing consulting practice and haven't looked back.
I've been married to my lovely wife Marlene for 20 years. Our eldest, Kyle, just got accepted to RIT. He starts in the Fall. One of our daughters, Kelsey, 14, is a high school cheerleader. For those of you who remember me, you'll understand how that came as a bit of a shock. Hayley, my 11 year old daughter plays soccer and wants to kick field goals for the high school football team. Needless to say, it's been an interesting 30 years.
I've been in the NY, NJ, PA area about 3 times a year for the last 20 years for business. I drive through HP almost everytime. Highland Pizza and Tasty Subs just don't exist in Los Angeles. I hope to make the reunion. If not, would welcome hearing from you guys.

I am an associate professor teaching comparative culture and American studies at the Prefectural University of Hiroshima. I have been living in Japan for almost 20 years except for the year that I an my Japanese wife and kids spent in Reading, England where I taught intercultural communication.

I posted this on the Class of '75 even though I graduated early in '74 when my parents left Highland Park and moved to Europe.
A Math teacher at HPHS (Mr. George Towne) turned me on to computers and I went to Penn's Engineering school to major in Computer Science. At the end of my freshman year, they told me that Engineering wasn't for me and maybe I'd like to try the business school. It worked out best for everyone and I graduated to tell other people how to build computer systems.
Did that for about 10 years in Delaware, Phiadelphia and then finally the last 5 in LA. Got homesick for he East Coast and moved back to Philadelphia to temporarily help my Dad computerize his new real estate business. 18 years later, he's retired to Florida and I'm stuck running the business here in Philly (and still fixing the computers).
I've been married to my beautiful wife for 16 years with a 12 year old daughter and a 9 year old son. I'm trying to turn them both into the athlete and the musician that I always wanted to be but never had the talent for. They get back at me by making me coach basketball/baseball/soccer 14 days a week.
I've lost touch with everyone from Highland Park but I still drive through to see how it looks whenver I can. I met up with Andy Rose ('74) at college and hung out with him in the mid 80's when we were both in LA. I've assumed everyone else I knew was either dead or in jail, so it's great to hear such good news about so many people.

I left HP right after graduation for college in NYC and eventually made my way to Miami after obtaining a degree in Design. I have been a Space Planner/Design Project Manager for the last 17 years. Long title, pressure cooker job involving the planning and coordination of commercial buildings and computer centers.
When I get time off I've travel to exotic destinations as often as possible, as well as studying Art and Architecture in Europe.
Not married, no children, have a home in a sweet little neighborhood in South Florida and I LOVE living here in "The Sunshine State" right in between Disney World and Key West the two perfect examples of Fantasyland - one for Kids one for Adults. What more could you ask?
