Hi fellow classmates! I left Jersey in '97 for sunny Tampa (go BUCS). Been married twice 2 kids one boy 20 one girl 12. Have a job as a Controller for a mid size non-profit. Best fun is going to the drag strip with my 600 horsepower '88 Stang and doing a little sailing. Otherwise life in paradise is pretty good. No more cold dreary winters. Anybody see Rich Knauer or live in FLA?

I can't believe that 35 years could have passed so quickly. I've been married for almost 32 years to the guy I met in college. We have two grown children - a son who is a financial analyst and a daughter who is a first grade teacher. I've been working with computers my whole professional career. It's been fun.

After attending college at N.Y.U's School of the Arts Theater Program I spent several years working in the Avant Garde theater world in New York City. I had a home in the East Village from September of '66, after graduating from HPHS that June, until packed it all and moved to California in 1985. From '77 to until the middle of '81 I lived a bi-coastal life. I lived in N.Y.C. until July of '85 when I moved to Los Angeles.

My theater career and creativity evolved into the world of high-end residential construction. I was an Expediter for a creative and fertile design-build firm in N.Y. That, in turn, segued into working in television and film, as a Propmaker/Scenic Carpenter at almost all of Hollywood's historic studios.

I've been working in Studio Facilities Operations at the studios here in Hollywood since 1990. I had short stints at Universal Studios and Warner Brothers Studios and worked at the Walt Disney Studios for 5 and 1/2 years. I've been with Paramount Studios for 7 years.

I'm on the Board of Directors of a non-profit institution, a Retirement Home for the Elderly. (Elderly political and religious progressives have a place to retire to here in Southern California. Its called Sunset Hall and has been around since 1923.)

I lived with and was subsequently married to an extraordinary woman, a Professor of Classics, for 21 years. We parted without recrimination or bitterness. People come together in amazing ways and sometimes evolve apart. It doesn't necessarily have to be a negative experience. We had no children by choice, as opposed to any medical realities. Nonetheless, I find that at age 57 I have definite mixed feelings about that fact

I've traveled extensively in Europe a few times and frequently around the U.S. Its one of my passions. So is the life of the mind and spirit. (No I don't speak to crystals or chant, but I am open to the spiritual world.) I grow orchids indoors and out and am an avid gardener (organic). I love music including straight-ahead jazz, good rock, World, Folk, experimental, and classical. I'm fortunate to have a vibrant, active group of friends of many year's standing on both coasts.

I'm a Hawaiian shirt-wearing, pony-tailed man with a neatly trimmed, short-beard. I enjoy my work at a Hollywood Studio and occasionally write humorous essays and rants about life as I see and experience it.

It'd be interesting to hear from some of you who knew me back in Highland Park.
