Hello from one of the last HPHS members from the "sticks" (aka Middlebush). I received the Alumni newsletter for the first time and that has certainly stirred up old memories. A brief brief history: Two years of college led to four years in the Air Force (mostly in London) which led to 37 years married to a wonderful girl from Northern Ireland by way of London. Our two grown kids (35 and 31)live in in CT and FL. Our youngest, who we adopted, is going to be a junior in high school. My work has always been in the Information Technology world most recently helping a mental health agency. We lived in Middlebush till 1990 then headed north to Maine. My mid-life crisis (an 03 Mini Cooper S) arrived last year.

I went to HPHS until my junior year (until I moved to the Princeton area), but I have a lot of fond memories of Highland Park and the High School. I lived on 5th St. then 7th St. and played Little League baseball for years (I still have my team picture). I was the class treasurer my freshman year (1959) and remember many of my teachers and classmates. I was a pitcher on the JV and varsity baseball teams. I graduated from Princeton HS in 1962 and went to Wake Forest University, the went into the Air Force during Viet Nam. Eventually I got a bachelors BS degree in electrical engineering from UT Arlington (Texas) and also a MS in Biomedical Engineering. I'm married now 33 years and have 3 grown children. Having worked as a VP in a large medical center in Shreveport, LA for 20 years, I now am a medical equipment analyst for a consulting firm. Although I moved before 1962, I really consider HPHS to be my high school, and I would welcome any contact should anyone remember me. I went to Hamilton School for my grade school years.

Having a wonderful time enjoying Joe's and my seven children (5 are Dick's and my daughters) and 15 grandchildren, the oldest of whom just turned 14. Last year we moved into our new home on a golf course in Naples, but also kept our house in Danbury, CT. And we still spend lots of time with our kids and grandkids at our Jersey shore house in South Seaside Park.

I graduated from the University of Bridgeport in 1966 and from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1970. I was a captain in USAF until 1972 and have been practicing dentistry in the Springfield, Ma area since then. I am married with 4 children..2 boys and 2 girls.
