Gail Morton Jurkowski Current Location: Columbia, MO Email Address: GJurkowski@aol.com I left HPHS in the middle of our senior year. I completed the year and graduated from Somerville HS but consider myself part of the HPHS class of '57. I worked in the research library at Ortho Pharmaceutical for 3 years until the birth of my 1st son. Then was a stay at home Mom until my 3rd child was in school. At that point I went back to school. Somerset County College and thru Thomas Edison State took courses at Rutgers and Rider as well as cleps to complete an accounting degree. Also worked for H&R Block for 10 yrs running an office for 3 and earning my IRS enrolled agent status. I worked for several accounting firms and also self employed until I gave it all up a couple of years ago. My husband of 44 years and I moved from NJ to MO in 2001 after our house flooded to the second story. I have been working with the reunion committe to plan our 45th reunion this Oct. and enjoying every minute of my contact with our classmates. Last Updated: 8/1/02

A 45th reunion is being planned for our class at the Hyatt in New Brunswick on October 4-5, 2002 and we hope to see everyone there. After HPHS, I went to Denison U. in Ohio and on to the University of Washington where I earned Masters degrees in Clinical Psychology and Social Work and met my husband of almost 39 years, Bob. We've lived in St. Paul, MN, Aurora, NY, and now Concord, NC since we left Seattle in 1966. I've been working with parents and children in a Child Guidance Center, Community Mental Health Centers, and a small counseling center until I retired a year ago. Bob is Assistant Director of Mental Health for the Division of Corrections for NC. We have one daughter, Megan, who is working with the National Archives in Philadelphia. I've been so grateful for the education we received at HPHS and am looking forward to seeing classmates (I almost said "old classmates") at our reunion. Anyone who may know the address and phone number of any of our surviving teachers circa, 1953-57, please let us know so we can invite them, too. Nick Senker Current Location: Hillsborough, NJ Email Address: n.senker@worldnet.att.net I retired in 1999 from National Starch and Chemical in Bridgewater where I worked as an Analytical Chemist for 40 years. After attending Rutgers for one year, I joined National Starch as a lab technician and continued my education at night. During that time I married Bea Alfano, class of 1960, and raised two girls while living in Piscataway and Hillsborough. We now have two lovely grandchildren and spend a lot of time with them. PRESENTLY I AN WORKING FOR THE COLGATE PALMOLIVE COMPANY IN PISCATAWAY NEW JERSEY FOR THE LAST 38 YEARS IN THE CHEMICAL RESEARCH FIELD AND LOOKING FORWARD TO RETIREMENT.
