It hsa been quite a trip! 3 wives (NO, not all at once!), 4 kids, 3 step chlidren, 10 grandchildren, & 1 great grandchild. Family is spread across the U.S.- from Iowa to Mass. to Fla. to Ariz. to Ore. to Utah - we've got the country covered! No family left back in N.J. - all managed to escape! Air Force for almost 4 years after H.S. - upstate N.Y. to Wyo. to Mich. to the Artic (for 13 mos.), then back to N.J. for 8 more years. moved to New Hamp. in '67 with 1st wife (Susan Stein from H.P.) and 3 kids. Semi-retired to Fla. in '71 for 7 years, then divorce. A winding road led me to Iowa - met 2nd wife. We moved to New Mex. and then Ariz.- 4th child. Back to Iowa in '81 and have been here since. Sampled many occupations but have worked primarily in the fields of photography, real estate appraisal, boat building, and mental health.Retired from Jolesch Photography in Des Moines in '02 - bought a sailboat! Pat, 3rd wife of 10 years, - THE one! - and I live to sail and spend almost all of our free time during the warm months on our boat. Regularly vacation in Door County, Wis., (we'd love to live there), travel (just back from 2 weeks in Hawai'i), move snow in Winter & mow our acre in Summer (rather be sailing!) We married in 1959 and lived in Elizabeth for several years. We then moved to somerset, NJ where our children grew up. We had two sons, Gary and Lawrence. They are now 41 and 38 years old respectively. During that time, I was active in PTA, and the Villagers Barn Theatre, producing and stage managing plays there. I have four grandchildren, Ryan, age 11; Emily, age 8; Max, age 7 and Delilah, age 3. They call me JillMom and I love it. For the past 18 years, I worked at the Rutgers College of Pharmacy. I retired this past July and have been having a ball. I have been widowed since 1998 and have kept busy enjoying my children, grandchildren and my wonderful friends, most of them are my Highland Park buddies. My memories of growing up in Highland Park will last a lifetime. They were special times and I am so lucky to be able to share them from time to time with our reunion committee.
