In 1998, a groundswell of activity occurred with the numerous HPHS alumni who still live in the HP area and understand the unique pride we all feel in HP. Len Littman '55 and Leon Kroll '58 launched an effort to provide HPHS alumni with an opportunity to share their lives, interests, and memories with their fellow alumni. They asked friends, friends of friends, and children of friends for reunion directories in order to begin the compilation of an official HPHS Alumni data base. Collecting 32 directories to date, the foundation had been laid for mailing out our first newsletter in the Fall of 2001. Len and Leon's efforts also resulted in the creation of an HPHS Alumni Association. The Steering Committee met for the first time on Tuesday, June 12, 2001 to adopt By-Laws and to elect the following officers: | |||||||||||
